Trinidad and Tobago
We spent 8 days hauled out working on |Gillaroo. It was hot work and the mosquitoes had a feast. Apart from that the locals were so helpful and friendly and couldnt have asked for a better spot. Note the hydraulic trailer for the haul out - a bit easier than Dagos lorry but not so much fun.
In the yard next door there were about 6 50ft Gunboat cats being built in plywood. Beautiful boats, good woodworking skills here.

Tobago, this is my dive instructor (the only singing instructor on the islands !). He says his office colour attracts the tourists ...

A couple of days before we left Tobago we discovered several our rigging connectors were coming undone so we were fortunate to have got away without serious mishap. We also had to shorten our backstays and had a couple of days hard work.

Christel and Ciaran in Tobago. I am told Ciaran didnt spend all his time sitting at the pool drinking rum.
Quite a cultural shock for us to run into big spending Brits as most of the cruisers are on a tight budget.

We got held up in Tobago going from one port to another because the Immigration official wasnt in the village on that day - strange are the workings of burocrats...
